1980 KZ1000 LTD Exhaust

Hello everyone, I've been on this site religiously for the past few months since purchasing my new baby. She's a 1980 KZ1000 LTD. I did not take any pics leadings up to the state she is in now (all torn apart). Now this is my first bike ever, and I have not ridden one since I was in high school about 14-15 years ago! So to say I have no experience is an understatement, although I am handy. I think? anyway my build is closely mimicking a Wrenchmonkees' bike I saw online. I am trying to replicate the exhaust but have noticed that the stock pipe once taken apart is not the same. I'm looking for the piece that connects the header to the muffler. Its the black angled piece in the picture attached. Does anyone know if this is a custom piece or is it an aftermarket extension? any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. I will begin a build thread once I take some pics.
