Please don't use any kind of sealant.
If anything use anti seize between the pipe and spigot.
Next time you have it apart.
Turn the spigots on the pipe a few times then tap them on the ground then do it again and again until no more carbon and rust comes out.
Now is the time for the anti seize.
Install the front section of the pipe.
When you go to install the rear section ,
DON"T PUSH THE FRONT SECTION FORWARD.
If the holes don't line up ,slot them.
And use the springs AND saftywire up front.
