2nd gear slip 83 kz550 M1

Bike seems to jump into neutral after about 2,000 rpm in second gear. I Found a set of gears on flea-Bay for $50 with shipping. The gears are off a 1982 model kz550. Anyone think they would fit?

Yes, they should be the same.

1983 GPz 750
810 Wiseco, Kerker, K&N, DynoJet S3, Accel, Progressive, etc.
