The engine came out of a 79 LTD .
The bike was built to show. It was from Wisconsin I think. It was a bank repo. I have never see a cleaner built bike. The welds are so smooth and blended in that it is amazing.
The bike was bought by a friend of mines Son. He got the bike for less than 10 grand.
I had seen the bike in a shop where I had gone to work on another Kawasaki. They had attempted to get it running good but the owner came and got it and took it to the store where they bought it. They had a fuel pump installed which didn't help any.
I thought the bike was just built for looks being the main goal and not performance. I took some clear fuel line with me and remover the fuel pump after starting the bike and watching the fuel pump out the carbs.
I rerouted the fuel lines like the builder had them over the top of the engine after insulating the fuel line.
It had a Dyna 200 and 2.2 coils. The timing was not set and we set it to a basic timing. and the bike will fire off like a stock bike.
The pistons are low compression.
Did I mention the engine has to be removed to adjust the shim under bucket set up ?
That's real handy

It's gotta be heavy. If it never ran right I doubt that he knew
that it would have trouble hooking up with that heavy frame.
Just sayin'. Bet it doesn't vibrate and drop parts everywhere it goes!
