KZ550 crankshaft axial play!?

Hi,

now my bike is running well. Today i opened up the alternator housing and found that the rotor has play in and out a little bit.

is this ok? it has no radial play, only axial.

Crankshaft end float is normal.
There may be a figure in the Service manual to reference against for abnormal amounts of movement.
You are more likely to have crank bearing wear problems before end float.
If it's running ok leave it alone.
