Rear tail piece cowl ideas for my kz200 cafe

I have been working on a 78 kz200 and i am not wanting to put a typical cafe style seat as i like having my gf take little rides with my. Does anyone have any pics or ideas that they could share with me so that i can build/fabricate a rear tail cowl that goes behind the seat and over my rear fender? I have never done any fiberglass work but can always start now just looking to see if anyone has had this interest before and if so maybe they would have some pointers for me to follow. Thanks fellow kaws.

how bout something like this ?




cut out some thick posterboard and start creating shapes until you find something you like.

Thanks Banshee. I will give it a go after i get off work today. I really like the look of the tail piece for the kz900's. Do you think i could get one of these and customize it to fit my z200? I am waiting on a new headlight and headlight brackets along with a few other parts. I hope to have something done on this project in the next week or so. I will let you know how it goes. with some fiberglass and saran wrap or tape or ??? you could do it,and i wish you would.
