well my oven only goes to 550. Any how i just got home to find it coverd in sleet so it should be perfect, God at this point I dont frickin care. but when it drys out and me I will show pictures. Thanks for all the help, Pete

But I did manage to make up for it by playing the grooves off of animals/wish you were here/dark side of the moon and certain sections of the wall! :woohoo:

speaking for my experience with VHT on headers: it's a royal pain in the ass to maintain. I would just bead blast the heads and let them go.

Don't use the exhaust type vht paint it is useless and will fall off in a short time.
Use PJ1 or wurth satin case paint.
Paint the item and let it air dry overnight.
Then cure in the oven or under the grill until it "wets" then let it cool naturally.
It will last for 10 years + in all weathers and remains solvent/petrol resistant.

I was going to use pj1 satin black but times are tough and I had a can of this in the garrage
