At times, in some respects, yes but not drastically on those cams. It's lobe profile where it begins to change things as the base circle gets smaller. Two cams can have the same duration at a specific checking lift but be different in lobe profiles. As you reduce base circle significantly, the lobe shape can change.
On a virgin head, those cams are a candidate for 37.5 standard kz length intake valves because you have .020" smaller base circle. That translates into .010" or roughly 5 shim sizes. You gain half the measured reduce base circle in workable room to sink the valve for valve to valve clearance.
That is providing you run standard thickness buckets which in this case is no problem as they are a shim on top candidate without any issues.
Always look the nose over real good on a used cam. I have a lot of cams arrive with heads and the cams are worn out on one or more lobes. It's easy to spot by comparing the relative shape of the lobe points.
