Stock torque curve for 1997 KZ1000P?

Next time into the carbs, would check the clip positions on the jet needles, and return all clips to the middle position;
and assure jet needles and needle jets are clean and in good condition;
and also try to assure that the jet needles are stock sizes (kawasaki.com may show the jet needle sizes), as the jet needles might have been replaced from some after-market kit.
Would also lube the pivot points on the timing advancer; and assure the advancer is functioning properly by watching it under a timing light to observe it quickly moving back and forth as rpm is varied by blipping the throttle.
And also perform the clear tube test on each carb to assure that fuel levels are within specs.

I've done most of that, except for the timing advance mechanism lube job. Will do. Didn't think to check jet or needle sizes. The motor appears to be box-stock.
I had no idea my favorite Castrol GTX was no longer good for bikes. Now, I'll have to change the oil in all three (Kawi, Suzi, and Honda).

mine runs sweet but then i did my own carbs and real carb syc.
i have been in alot of carbs in the days stuff is easily looked over like you did not check your jet numbers and such.
as to that poor maintance on advancer you over looked,in the end little shit will bite you in the azz.
sorry i am machinist by trade so i am anal........lol
hope it works out for you. dont mean to be so hard on you but i dont like doing things twice except gettin pussy.
