u need to figure out why u r not getting fuel to #3,and 4 carbs.

Would perform clear tube test on #3 and #4 carbs to determine fuel level in each carb.

And also assure that the floats aren't installed upside down.

Good Fortune! :)

It's a terrorist plot to piss you off. What i would do is make sure that you get fuel to 3 and 4 otherwise it's gonna be uneven, also make sure the timing is good, probably electric anyways. then we can see about one of the cams possibly coming off.
yeah probably just the fuel though.

OK, here's the news. I pulled off the valve cover and went through every check in regards to timing this thing on this website. It checks out. Not a timing issue. I did check the DynaTek website and looked at which one I had installed. OK I think the guy put on a Suzuki ignition. The reason I say this is because I have red,black, and white wires. The website indicates that for a kawasaki large four it is supposed to be black, red, and green. Would this be a problem? Also the black and white wires were on the wrong coils. Could this be the culprit? I will buy some clear fuel line tomorrow and install.

I have a 1980 KZ1000 LTD B4. It runs but I had a problem with a new battery. It would discharge and as soon as I hooked it up to the bike it wouldn't turn it over. I bought a gel battery at the local Advanced autoparts store. Hopefully It will be OK.
Now to the question. As the bike runs but it doesn't have the power and it has a kind of muffled sound when you give it the throttle. I took heat readings with an infrared temp gun. The left two exhausts were at 630 degrees and the right two were at about 117.0 degrees. Any ideas on this? Thanks!!

I want to buy one of those thermometers, but first I have to know, does it work on a barbecue?

@Patton,
I did find the splice. It was a two into one type of connector. It looked like it might have gotten a little warm in the past. I cleaned and sprayed deoxit on it and put it back together. I also had the wrong wires connected. still won't start. I'm baffled. The sad part is that I don't trust anyone here(key west) to work on anything with an engine. Inspecting the carbs tomorrow.

Always remember to align the crank trigger correctly if you expect your motorcycle to run at all. I nominate myself to the aforementioned position. Thank you all who attempted to assist me previously.
