2001 kz1000p oil seals was created by BRABBIT04161991
Hey everyone I noticed there was a small oil leak behind the front sprocket on my bike and I can't seem to find a kit of these oil seals anywhere. I check z1 enterprises and the sell them indevidually but that's going to get very costly very quick. Anyone know if any other years would fit this I was thinkin 81 and up but can anyone verify that for me??

Are you talking about part number 92049-1567? If so, it is still available from Kawasaki for about $8. The bike only needs 1 so why would you need a "kit?". Ed

See link in my signature for help with navigating kawasaki.com to see parts diagrams, etc.

Is it for sure not leaking past the grommet where wires exit from the alternator cover?

I'm not 100% sure where it's coming from I'll rip off the cover tonight and fill you in but it looks likes most of it was coming from behind the sprocket

Your right on doing the 4 seals at one time. I found the shift shaft seal being the culprit on a few on=f these. I do all of the seals, pull the cover and reseal it as well. Here you can use a good silicone like Ultra Grey. But i have yet to see a kit for the seals, only each.
