Yes! I meant impact.
I've no idea why I said "torque wrench" :S
I do have a torque wrench... but I'm certainly not going to hit anything with it.

on a job like that you need air tools son i think that is a taper fit on end of crankshaft

Just thought I'd post an update since I've read about a lot of people having issues with this on the interwebz.
I got the flywheel puller from Z1Enterprises for $9 + shipping. I figured that was a damn worth it to make sure a ball bearing doesn't get crushed in the rotor hub, or I damage my rear axle (or anything else for that matter).
I screwed the puller hand tight, and hit it with an air impact wrench at 120psi. Nothing. But I do have only a small compressor.
So, I lined up a hammer with the end of the flywheel puller, and gave it 4-5 solid smacks. Probably about 40% force for me.
I hit it with the impact wrench again. Nothing.
I went to hammer once more, and gave it another 4-5 solid smacks at about 50-60% force.
Once more with the impact wrench, and she fell right off. Took about 3 minutes.
Success!

See, we said they can be really tight! I wonder how the Kawasaki factory installed it?
