She loves it, sometimes she comes out in the garage and hangs out when I'm wrenching... She likes it better when shes on the back and were going down the highway though. She's a keeper.

"How's the wife/girlfriend view your "Hobby"?"....

Have to admit, I had the same issue with the wifey poo on my 900 builds where "You spend all your time out in the garage, time to come in now, time to stop for I need attention, you luv your KZ more then me (Well Ya, Duh!), etc...

Now that Big Red "Voyager Xii" being her bike  (I fix and drive go figure) I get "How come you're not in the garage fixing my bike, it's OK honey you can go work on her, when will she be done etc...

Damn women, :S can't make up their minds now can they....

Are you going to sell parts off the Shaftie? I need a Balast resistor and a battery hold down.

Nope sorry, I'm gonna rebuild the engine with one of the big bore kits from kz zone and ride the crap out of it some more. The 1000 is just a place holder until I get my Spectre back up and ripping.

All good advice, comp test is without doubt required, sometimes a $900 motor is a better buy then a $500 motor (in Oz we'd pay a lot more). Looking at the picture it looks in good nick, I assume the carbies and starter come with the motor. Good luck

First Permanent ride the Z1R since Dec1977 (220,000km) as of June 2015
Second permanent bike 1989 FJ1200 dyno'd 140RWH, great bike.
Third ride is now the Frankenstein 1981 GPZ1100B1, 1983 fully recon motor fitted LOVE THIS BIKE
Forth my work bike FJ1200 1989 (same type as FJ above)
