i bought an 82 kz750m twin csr and the exhaust pipes are wrong on it and i need a transmission cover gasket and generator gasket and can't find the right one in stock anywhere. i'm wondering if another size of kz or like a 79 yamaha xs650 exhaust would fit but i cant find the diameter of what they are anywhere. I would just like another option other than the $275 for mac 2 in 2 which i hear you lose torque from, because i only paid $550 for the bike

There are some gaskets on eBay. Click here.

Can't tell you anything about the exhaust.

See link in my signature about using kawasaki.com to find part numbers, models sharing same part, and other information.

May then Google the part number to help find a source.

Post the part numbers for the gaskets and I'll see if I can help find them. Ed

Possibly contact the previous owner who might still have them.

Exhaust system may be stock, and if so the split collar part number is 92027-1241, according to kawasaki.com.

Google 92027-1241 which provides links to several sources where the part is supposedly available.

Could also send a parts request to Z1 Enterprises, who might know of an alternative part, or be able to locate this particular part, or advise of being sol, or whatever.

Perhaps a longer collar with same contour from a different model could be shortened to fit.

Before fitting collars you need to determine who made the exhaust system because they do not all use the same collars. From what I've seen, the stock KZ750 twin exhaust uses really short collars that are not even shaped like others I've seen for KZ bikes. Here's a pic of one from the web:
