Stock ignition timing, 'safe' nitrous shot?

Reason I asked about the timing is because I'm not prepared to sink the money into a big shot and the motor work that goes along with it, I just think it would be a fun novelty to be able to open up a small 30 or 40 shot for a few seconds every now and then. Not racing it or anything. Just wondering if I can do it reliably for fun. Also when it comes time to sell it'll be a little extra coolness factor for the potential buyer...

that doesn't look like a coolness factor to me, looks like a nightmare.... :silly:
30 or 40 shot is like adding nearly 50% increase over stock HP rating. You're gonna need to pull some timing out of that engine to do that, and drop down to a smaller shot.
thanks for the pic StreetFighter

150 horse shot, stock motor.4TheKZ1000 wrote: 1st, advance the timming 2 degs to the cosign of pi. Then add a summit racing 150 hp shot with a .34 orifice plate. You will need to use hotter plugs with seperate sphincter switch to match the air fuel mixture valve complex. You get this right a that moma-jama will fly....
