Hi guys, I have a 1980 KZ750LTD H1. Well after 32 years it's time for new clutch disks. Questions I have are .... what's the best brand clutch disks and springs ? Dennis Kirk offers EBC and Vesrah. I have done lots of business with DK over the years so I'll probably order my parts from them.

Also EBC has a clutch holding tool .... I have found that sometimes these "tools" are mostly junk. Anyone out there in KZ land have any insight.

AND ... is there any tricks or tips for changing out these parts on my old KZ ??? I've never done this job before on any motorcycle .....however I have done dozens, if not hundreds, of clutch jobs on automobiles and other machinery over the years.

Dont have a 750 . but if its like a KZ 1000 you dont need any special tools.
Check your manual.
Should just unbolt cover and clutch spring bolts. pull out old clutch parts and drop in new.

i haven’t used either of those plates , I use stockers. both companies are reputable , so i wouldn’t worry about which 1 to buy, unless someone else chimes in with an opinion.
Like F.S said, check the manual, but u should not need any special tools. B)
