Do you need a starter motor? I've got one. It's got your name on it if you need it.

Cleaned them, but found the intake/carb holders leaking. Any suggestions on gaskets or a sealer that works good? Threebond? gasket paper? I took the condensers off today and will test them tomarow at work.
Dub, I want to remove the starter to see if it is repairable,(brushes, clean and reassemble or have new windings installed) but what would you want for the starterif that donr workout?

Are the boots pliable/soft? If not, just replace them - probably the only real solution.
Which side is leaking? Closer to the air box or closer to the engine?

I never heard this bike run the whole time I've had it and fell in Love with the first time I sat on it. The balance that it has when you sit in the saddle. I want to Put a 4-1 Vance and Hines or ZR750 exhaust on it and go cutting some curves with it.

DoubleDub wrote: Yeah, unfortunately the only real solution there will be to replace them. Some guys use silicone adhesive between the boots and the engine, but I'm not sure that's universally agreed upon.
+1 on replacing them. It's well worth it because the new ones will last a long time. Ed
