I'm curious what you have in your 1075 and what parts you used to get there. Besides the 1075 kit, what cams, carbs, head work, etc. and what level performance are you at...prefer e.t. and mph if you have them. How much does you and your bike weigh to get that performance.
Mine...it's a 1075, 29 smoothbores, V&H street header with otherwise stock motor. MK11 trans. and welded crank. Stock gearing with a weight about 670 lbs. Best I've done is about 11.4's with slick and 11.6's with a 130 street tire in a stock wheelbase chassis. Thinking of putting in a set of GPZ cams for a little more power.
What's in yours?

Nope...just me! Just kidding. Figure 500# for the bike...170# for the dead weight.

i have one carburated bike its a 900 with a 1075kit 10.25.1 compression,37.5mm / 31mm valves,.385 z2 cams, lots of port/polish work, ,34mm flatslides, pingel pet cock, dyna coils/ignition,vance+hines pro pipe with competition baffle, this bike is lowered 2in front 3in rear,18front 47 rear sprockets, this bike makes 125rwhp on 2 different dyno's. its got a few other old time tricks that really help it hustle.when i had this engine built i hated it! i thought it was so slow compared to my turbo bikes but once i calmed down and took sum time to really learn how to ride it i fell in luv with it!

i am building my bike as of right now. i will be doing the 77 1000---ape kit 1075--ape410 cams---34mm flat sides---1mm over valves---ported and polished head (home done) welded 900 crank(possobly knifed edged, not sure yet)
i want an engine that will rev fast and strong. i am hoping around 120-130 hp, but we shall see.
since i want a light bike, i am putting this in a '78 kz650 frame. with 2004 gixxer rear end and gixxer 2001 front end complete. all this with the stock (old kz) looks.
also at this time i am doing a solo seat set up. this is going to be a long project, but i want to do it myself as much as i can.
have fun wrenching guys, i will keep this site up to date with it all.

Post your power when it is done. You certainly picked the best cam for a 1075.

My "79" LTD has a 1075 kit with Andrews cams.I forgot the specs. I was running "29's" but now am running CV's.
Lucky Nowles built my engine. He has been wrenching on Kawasakis before the Z1 came out.
I don't know how much HP i have but i can lay down a black mark over 300 ft. My best is 317 ft.
Wired George said,"You can't do that." OH yes i can!
It will hang with a crotch rocket weel into fifth gear.
I call it my ye-ha bike. Roy
A member here, Sonny can build you a killer engine. He works at Phillips Pro Cycle in Carbondale,Ill. I wish he would post a pic of his bike. Roy

With 10-1 compression and 1075, I cant see for the life of me, spinning the tire for 300ft on dry pavement made in america, without holding the front brake. Ive got a 1015 motor and dont know this lucky person that instilled magic into your motor, but my bike does not do that att all and it can hang with a rocket any day. What do you weigh 20lbs? Im not making fun of your post at all but im not sure what i missed when i put my motor together, a couple of pistons maybe? Because man, the real secrets to making power are not handed down to the average bear and noone ive read on has told me what really makes these motors go. I feel like ive been decieved.
