Thank you sir! The whole front end is off a 2004 zx10r and the rear wheel is a 2004 zx6r.
leon:
Yup, there is a 1/4" clearance to the oil drain plug! The whole system fits "like a finger up your nose!"
Thanks guys! I couldn't be more tickled to have this pipe! We're gonna see if we can talk him into a few copies, but they'll be pricey compared to a vintage Kerker or V&H. You'd really hafta want one! :woohoo:
Mine was a screamin' deal because he already had the header made. I had already been talking to him and he wanted to experiment. He loves what we have here, so we'll try to convince him to "get in the game".

saxjonz wrote: And the swingarm? JMC? Very nice. I have always heard that the 17's make bike too low but it does look phabulous. Maybe when I get my bike finished that I'm working on now a switch will be in order. I'd just like to keep it "looking" stock. As far as everything else? Designed to ride the best it can without actually turning in to a totally new bike. But the way it handles compared to my Rex is totally loose like a well worn...never mind.
Yup, JMC. Nice unit, but big dollars and a loooooooong wait!
Ya, the 17's work very well, but as you well know, it's all the details that help in the handling department. Proper bearings, bushings, shocks, springs, etc go a long way to making a stock Zed work well.

I am currently looking for a new pipe and header. Could I get the name of the shop that did the work. Remember that I am in Ajax so it wouldn't be a problem if I had to do a face to face with the shop. How much did that beautie set you back?
If not, what did you do with your old pipe?
Let me know if you want to part with it.
Talk to you soon buddy
