Vance and hines for my kz1000

Alright I've seen Somewhere that I might have to rake the frame for the sidewinder system. I'm not doing that. So is there any other exhaust that fit on without any MAJOR modifications? I went to V&H.com and I didn't see anything on there that went later than '87.

You may want to include what year and model your Kawi is in your signature.

First time I've heard of the raking issue but possible I guess if non KZ650, Z1, KZ900, KZ1000.
Kerker exhaust systems go pass 1987.

Supertrapp

There's also MAC exhaust systems... PM Otto for I believe he has distributor license with them, may be able to get you a good price... ;)

MAC Exhaust...

NOTE: These two sites are for information of their exhaust systems only for I/we have found other sources aty discounted prices such as Z1 enterprises, Dynomans, Redlinecycle etc...

I've got the V&H Pro Pipe on my bike and it's not raked. I'm actually thinking of ditching it though since I'm considering going for more of a street fighter look.

Putting a V&H sidewinder on a 1973-80 Z1/KZ the clearance wheel to pipe is very close but the real problem is in braking, whatever clearance you might have would disappear. On an 1981 or later 1 believe there is more factory rack. I have a sidewinder on my 83 GPZ 1100 with no issues.

My bike is a '77 with a 100/90-19 front tire and I've had no clearance issues in the 3 years that the pipe has been on the bike.
