Some hi-temp sealant should also help (whether using 1 old or 2 old or 1 new).

Just pulled my exhaust, sanded, and re-painted. The exhaust gaskets look like some combination copper/fiber as opposed to original solid copper style.
Are these the single use variety or a more modern type that can be re-used? I've seen some advertised as being able to be re-used without annealing or leaking...
Shipping is killing me. Z1E has been great, but I keep finding more stuff I need, just after I've placed orders, so I'm paying shipping all over again. This would be my third order placed this week if I order new gaskets!

Perhaps the thicker Suzuki gaskets mentioned here:

Coat them in copper grease. Flip them 180 degrees and re-fit.
