Oil sight glass

OK, is there trick to installing the oil sight glass on the clutch cover without breaking the glass? I have broken two.

Installing it dry or with some lubrication? Contacted www.z1enterprises.com for advise? Are you pushing with a socket or your thumb?

I have installed a lot of them and never broke one. I use a Nylon plastic rod that is almost the full size of the glass and I lube the rubber with some spit. It slides right in.

Any tips on removing the sight glass on from the cover on a KZ750 Ltd without breaking it. I know it is just a push fit but it seems stuck in there pretty fast.
