EXHAUST WRAP?
10 Mar 2011 16:04
I have a four into one Vance and Hines exhaust, that I would like to wrap. I have read that wraping helps with heat release and extra horse power.I would like to hear opinions and experiences with exhaust wrap. Thank's everyone.
I want to ride my bicycle!!!

Looks gnarly macho tough in certain applications, but likely helps more with rust than it does with heat release and extra horse power.

Here, take a look!
I bought this bike like this. a cople months ago.
I would never use it.
It's ugly! gets oily, dirty.
I would ceramic coat or use "JetHot" Coat it.
But this is a high perf engine that has 200 lbs. compression per cylinder. I can't wait to drive it, at the dragstrip!

Gas velocity is tied directly to temperature. It's not a difference you're going to feel in the seat but it can make a difference.
If you had a pipe that was too small for an application, that would be a logical reason to go that route.
