1045cc 2.795 and still allows you to go to 1075cc 2.835... You Drunk today?
I've heard u cant get 1045 kits anymore
Well the original question was as quoted above... And Wiseco would have probably removed them from their website if not available, although I could be wrong...
Either way,Big Joe wants to know what size the sleeves/block could/would be in mm's and would still allow him to Bore to 1075cc's.
The answer would be 1045cc's 2.795/71.00mm's

Am thinking 71MM bore is 1045cc.
[Click on image to enlarge view.]
If a well-worn "1045" is being considered for boring to 72MM, am thinking it wouldn't hurt to measure with bore gauge to assure enough meat remaining in each liner. It's getting pretty thin at 72MM, especially where FSM says max is 71MM.
Would defer to Kraz1's opinion about this.

...the guy said its less than 71 and more than 70....
Isn't this a typical stock 1015cc KZ1000 block that started life at 70mm and which has since worn to something less than 71mm?
KHI provided two piston over-sizes for KZ1000, the first being 0.5mm and the next being 1.0mm.
Presupposing normal wear, the less than 71mm should allow boring to 72mm for 1075cc.

do a stock rebuild with welded crank and replace anything worn.throw a set of 8:1 1015s in there with a stock head with good valve springs and stock cams with a turbo!
you can tune it to run just like a stock motor in hot weather or crank a few lbs of boost into it and have an instant 1075 killer on pump gas
Still recovering, some days are better than others.
