who's running this? was created by andy9802gt
Hey guys, I want to know who's running the V&H pro pipe and what did you have to do to get it to fit? I know the brake pedal has to be modded but does the frame have to be raked? I want to run the Tarozzi rearsets on my bike so I don't think I'll need to modify anything to get it to fit provided the linkage will clear for the brake pivot. Anybody got any input? Also, I ride everyday if I can, do you think the baffle out of my regular V&H will fit in the megaphone of the sidewinder?

Running the V and H on my 82 KZ. Had to straighten the brake pedal to run on top of the right footpeg. No frame work required. Not sure about the baffle.Running the street baffle in mine and it is very quiet.Did go to aluminum footpegs as the heat melted the rubber on the stockers.lol.bj

not sure about the pro pipe but some of the "sidewinder"type pipes hit the front fender/tire under hard braking if the front end has not been raked.that will lock the front tire and be potentially hazardous.
my buddy has a katana front end with the seventeen inch wheel and a v&h sidewinder(not pro) and it doesn't seem like it is going to contact.but it has not been rode yet either.

bj, what's the part# on that pipe? Is it a sidewinder style or does it run under the bike?

I have the pro pipe on my 77 with a 19" front wheel and I don't have any clearance issues. I run rearsets so the the rear brake is a non issue.
