Need help identifying header was created by KZPens
Got this header today, I have no clue what brand it is. The 2 springs for the lower tubes are missing, knowing the brand should help me locate some. I would really appreciate if anyone could tell me who made this header.

Thanks

Hi KZPens. My guess is the pipe is from Yoshimura. From the pic you posted it looks like the one I had on my 650 back in the mid 80's. Mark Wing has one on his bike and he might have an opinion also. Try posting a few other pics from the top and the front. This will be of help.

Can't tell you what it is, but I can tell you it doesn't appear to be a Hindle, that might narrow it down a bit.

It looks like the Yosh pipe I removed from the GPz750, although I can't tell how thick the flanges are in the pic, like wireman said they were pretty thin, 3/16" or so.

The early Yosh pipes like mine, the collector isn't angeled like that one. It comes straight back then the back half kicks it out to the side. The later pipes collected on an angel like that but I'm not sure about the four head pipes moving like that. Here's a pic of a Yosh Ninja 600 pipe.

Either way, you should be able to throw on any good spring from a hardware store, no?

i'd put some money on that being a moriwaki.

the yoshi collectors are a one piece affairs, not like that multi piece one you have.

the flanges look like the mori cast aluminum ones that i see on the JDM auctions. the mori's are also separate tubes to the collectors like this one. not many other's are like that.

similar to this one, the flanges are different on this particular setup tho.

pm me, i might have some springs that'd work for that. or, go to your local bike shop(the speed shop),they'll most likely have a few.
