JUGS!!!!

too bad i cant post boobies...lol

alright. i have jugs that a couple of the sleeves are not presses in anymore. one can be removed from the jug by hand. in my demonic mind i figured either i would need to buy another jug that had the same bore to match my pistons, with sleeves pressed. or i would have to send out my jug to be repaired.

i guy i was talking to told me not to do either one of those things. he told me that the head bolts will keep my head pressed against the 'collars" of the sleeves and they will be seated flush like they should be.

in my wallets opinion, he was right, but it sounded like a quick temperary fix. can i get some advice on what i SHOULD do? thanks....Joe

If it were me, I'd check with the machine shops that work on older bikes.

He is correct.

kz's are known to have loose sleeves.the head gaskets should hold them in place.lay a straight edge across and as long as they are flush or possibly sticking up some they should stay put with some good fiber head gaskets.thats my .02,
