never seen a black viton oring.wouldnt trust it to be viton if it did the black ones I know of are either 70 or 90 durometer (a measure of hardness) vitons are brown with a durometer of 90 or there abouts I have seen some blue seals in some seal kits but they never claimed to be high heat application seals.Im not gonna put anything in my motor that claims to be viton unless its light brown in color and comes from a reputible sorce

Viton@ is a fluoroelastomer also known as VITON®, FLUOREL ® , TECHNOFLON ® , DAI-EL ® and comes in every color under the sky with the exception of red. Red is reserved for Silicone. Vesrah gasket sets come with Viton seals but they are of the classic design, not the Armored seals which you have seen in all the pictures here

i seem to remember a standing order from the marine base commander in yuma arizona saying something to the affect that if any of the members of a certain platoon of bravo co 1-75th INF from hunter army airbase in savanna georgia were seen within 10 miles of his beloved base,he would have their collective asses! :S of course that was back in 86-87 if i remember right, theyve probably got a new commander now! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: RANGERS LEAD THE WAY

By the way< I am authorized to and do ware jump wings. Unlike the girls that graduate from Ft Benning. I graduated from Lakehurst NJ and my first jump was a freefall. Come to think of it, I never did jump static-line. We were always told that static line is for people that are absent minded enough to forget and pull the rip cord.

my jump wings have a star surounded by a wreath on top of of them B)im authorized to wear lots of things also, but since im no longer in the military i dont B)

Sorry to disappoint you larry. But there are already sent, and BJ can make the call to use them or not. I probably should have wrote "Stock Replacement", oh well he's got them for free anyway.:cheer:

I'm referring to the seals that come in the gasket kits, NOT the seals PP is selling.

Otto if any seals or gaskets can survive all the chemicals you put in your bike, they must be cast iron. Besides...a little birdie that saw your bike run tells me it smokes pretty good on startup. Couldn't be those wonder seals you keep pushing by any chance...now could it ??
