Well, being they are Suzuki and I didn't use gasket sealer when I put them in, they leaked. So I tried to tighten them again. Bad move.

I use copper mesh gaskets from redline. Little pricey but worth it as they seal nice
cheers

These are what I used too, with a MAC 4-1 that went on about as easily as wrestling a bear. I didn't think there was any way in hell that the header was going to seal. It did, and hasn't leaked at all in the last couple thousand miles they've been on. Jim at Redline says that you can reuse them with no problems, I haven't reached that point yet, but by looking at and feeling them, I have no doubts. They are the show!

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationCopper is crap. You can use copper gaskets once, maybe twice and than you can throw them becouse they are deformed. These are from Athena gasket set and you can use it many times and for years. There are 2 steel rings and between them are few layers of some thin fire resistant material.

they must be some really soft steel to conform to the gasket flange, which is a must for sealing, I dont give a shit about reusable so much as workability.

only problem with the steel composite gaskets are if you get a leak they will burn out very quickly. as copper will not allowing you to atempt to retorqe them.
