I use teflon chain lube. My bikes been leaving some oil spots when parked though, so I know a seals gone bad.

On both my 550 and my 1000 I took the cover off and replaced all4 seals, leak on both was the shifter rod. So far the 1100 has 0 leaks, :cheer: :cheer:

Four seals? I was going to change the clutch pushrod seal, output shaft seal, and shifter seal that are in the "mission" cover. I know there are two more for the shifter on the sprocket cover. Is there one more I'm missing?

The pic of that chain looks like the pins are heavily scored and could possibly have weakened. Please consider changing that chain, for my peace of mind.
