has anyone successfully blocked off the tach. sending unit at the head? I don't us mine anymore and it is just leaking on my headers. Thanks.

There is a threaded 6mm hole at 8 oclock relative to the tach hole. Get a piece of metal shaped to fit over this threaded hole and the tach hole. Drill a hole in the metal so that you can bolt the piece of metal down and then seal it over the hole using adhesive silicon sealer. I wouldn't just fill the hole with silicon as that goop will try and get in your engine that way.
