How are your insulators looking? Problems with fouling? Are you having problems with how the motor is running?

If the bike is set up for the street, runs ok,plugs arent fouling, why change. The stock plug covers a multitude of riding styles and conditions so I would just leave it be.bj

Standard heat range should be fine. Myself I don't like NGK and I do not believe in the new fangled plugs either. They are expensive and they do not last any longer on out bikes. I much prefer ND (Denso) plugs. I started running them back in 1979 and haven't looked back since W24ES-U. I run mine with a .060 gap and Dyna coils. I sold a bunch of sets gapped to .040 and the guys love them with my high performance wires. There have been a couple of mentions about my setups in past posts.

Are you running Kawasaki ignition or Dyna ignition? If Dyna, which type? Kawasaki ignition is better than the Dyna-S but not the 2000 ignitions. Are you running resistor wires or caps or no resistance wires at all? I am running 0 resistance wires.

If it is a little rich it wont hurt your bike. Your sleeves are very thin and you don't want to run any hotter than you are. With a 1170 kit in the stock sleeves you should be running an oil cooler. Make sure you are running enough ZDDP in your oil. Your oil will brake down quite fast.
