As far as valve springs go, all the following models use the same inner and outer springs according to kawasaki.com

And the 81-83 CSR 650's listed are the ones with HyVo cam chain.

So I don't think you have to worry about the valve springs when using KZ750 cams.

I have no way of knowing if this is still valid or not... found this when researching for my cams....
