I believe (but I might be wrong) that the sprocket bolt pattern on the cams is not the same between the 650 and 750. The 650 used a standard chain while the 750 used a Hi-Vo chain. I would look into that before you try anything. If they do interchange, I have a set of 750 cams that aren't doing anything. You might be able to talk me out of them.

EDIT EDIT
I guess they do interchange. They both use the same two bolt pattern.

KZ 650 did not come with hivo cam chains KZ 750 and GPZ 750 had the hivo chains you can install KZ 650 cam sprockets on to KZ 750 or the GPZ 750 cams.

From what I understand, is that no one has any blanks left for the 650/750 cams. This means that all the cams are hard-welded. That is my understanding. Otherwise, Web-Cam shows a full listing of 650/750 cams. They require your old cams to weld and regrind for $500. Because of the mild performance of the 650, they also used a mild spring. You will have to install better springs with whatever cam upgrade you choose including the stock 750 cam. otherwise you will have severe valve float.
