1983 and 1984 GPz1100 cams are .375 lift and both exactly the same. No diference between int. and exh. I know because I have 3 sets and also own a 1983 GPz1100 original..Those measurements you stated look closer to the '81 & "82 GPZ1100 cams. They had a single stripe around the journal intake and nothing on the exhaust cam journal ..just like the later model GPz cams. and they were different lifts....just my 2 cents.

When does not matter...the facts matter. I was surprised to read wrong information from experts . I own a dozen or so KZs from way back then ...70s and 80s I do my own work and I only post detailed info if I am certain it is correct. I love the 1089 83..84 GPz engine...just started another rebuild. I do have a high regard for all of you that have contributed to these awesome motorcycles. I may have known this cam spec but over all info..ya'all are way ahead of me on most of this ..great to be able to get answers about antique motorcycles that we love so much.
