that bearing has a circlip around the circumferance that means you have to split the cases.

the circlip fits in the groove and forces you to have to split the cases.

there are holes in the bottom cases that are threaded the oppostite way. 2 at the front of the engine and one at the rear. they are blind holes you thread in your 8 mm case bolts after you have removed all the case bolts and tighten them down evenly they will seperate the cases. but first remove the sprocket and transmission cover also the kicker and clutch and [points housing. the top end can stay in one piece and the rotor can stay on the crank also all you shifter mechanisims can stay they don't have to be removed. there are i think 5 or 6 6mm bolts around and under the starter in the top half of the case that have to come out and of course the oil pan and filter housing has to come off. remember you can leave the entire top end together the crank stays in place dont even pull the center main cap.if you use the bolt method you should not even have to use pry bars or hammers to get the cases apart.

Kyle,
I have MANY other KZ manuals too that might be of help to you.
Let me know if I can help in anyway.
And for your information...I am working. Or at least getting paid.
Kinda' like you @ your work :P ;)
