choose the 0.395" lift that is the maximum you want for shim over buckets. plus no extra material removal required until 0.425" The tech people are smart and nice.
395's are drop in power especially with the 34's you have.
setting/or not setting your lobe centers will be the most complicated decision.
but in the hands of an experienced tech you'll be fine

410s are the largest that you can safely run with shim on top buckets.
We make a roller chain cam sprocket that fits the GPZ 2 bolt cams. This was popular back when they ran Kawasakis in funnybike. They are only available in 32 tooth, so you have to have the big crank pin.

GPz cams will work. Only the 83-85 GPz11 cams are worth the effort. You have to modify the KZ sprockets to accept 2 bolt cams or see if Jay has some sprockets. And you have to use Allen bolts with slightly turned down heads so they don't touch the chain. Been there..done this...they work real well.
FWIW, I deal with aftermarket cams in KZ motors on a dialy basis. Here's some advice.
Do not take for granted that a camshaft listed as "drop in grind" is actually just a bolt in cam. I've seen .365 lift cams that should never have made it out the door to be shipped. Had a set of 118's that hit the tappet bores on #4 exhaust. Good thing customer didn't just buy them and bolt them in. He shipped them with the head to be ported and I discovered the problem when I was checking the cams. It's rare...but it can happen.
Cam Motion makes an awesome Z1 grind cam for the KZ. Works really well with a ported head in anything from 1015 to 1197cc motors. They're advertised as being ground on 1.100 lobe centers with .400 lift, 247 duration @.050 and a drop in grind. Runs shim on top. A really, really nice street cam that puts the torque in the normal driving RPM range with good top end pull. No waiting around for the cam to get happy about the RPM it's at
In truth, they're not a drop in on every KZ head. They're ground on 1.110 base circles.I have had those cams where they need the exhaust tappet bores clearanced and fit the intakes OK.
I've also had them need to clearancing on both sides. Just depends on the casting.
I've probably seen more KZ castings in my lifetime than most people on this forum. I've seen good ones and poor ones.
Castings vary. Once you approach near .400 lift, you really need to be paying attention.
You can run more lift than .365 in a KZ casting without clearancing the tappet bores if the cam is ground correctly and your casting is a clean one. I've been able to put 110's in KZ heads before without clearancing.
I'm not slamming anyone, just relaying "real world" information that I've personally come up against.
