I'm sending mine to him Friday. I'm sure it will look great. Now I need to figure out where to send the rest of my case pieces to get cleaned and or bead blasted.

If it's a non painted motor...

Strip the cases down completey & pull the studs, I can blast them, the block, the trans cover, oil pan, valve cover & head for $250.

When you get it back everything will be totally clean & ready for final assembly. Measure your stud heights before you pull them so you know what to set them to. I would just bail on the stock ones and put Jay's HD studs in the cases with his tool steel head nuts. Good stuff!

Painted motors take a lot more blasting time so the cost would go up on something like that if the goal was to take it to bare aluminum finish.

It's special stuff that came from the space program. Developed specifically for NASA.. :silly:
