Bassani Exhaust

So I only have two kz1000s I tried the Yosh today and have decided Ill never sell that.So up for grabs is a old Bassani pipe.The PO added a aluminium Slip over tube on the back of the pipe kinda looks like a old wolf but its a Bassani and shines up real nice.I wont haggle on the price witch is $250.00 plus shipping there is a bit of a flat spot at the collector where someone ran over a curb or somthing.Heres what it looks and sounds like its the pipe that came with my bike when I bought it.Its kinda loud

That is a series III pipe. I want to find a series I pipe like I have on one of my Z1Rs. I do have a series III sitting around at the moment but it is not even as crisp sounding as mt Kerker "K" series. Which is not as crisp sounding as the MAC cannister pipe, which is not as crisp as the series I Yoshi. But they ALL sound much crisper than the Kerker or V&H megaphones.

This is what it looks like mounted. Series III has the short aluminum cannister at the end and a series II looks almost identical to a modern MAC pipe.

how does it differ from the Yosh, in a riding sence? is the power band higher, less bottom end, and mid??

The series I Yoshi is a peaky powerband the series two is a bit lower and series three is a good mid range pipe. The series I was a very good race pipe. Here is part one of that video.

There is a "Modern" Yoshi series one on this Z1(Z2) also. There are actually two bikes in this video but you can hear the difference.

The bassani.Seens towork best between 6k to9k RPM
The Yosh I just put on (not in the vid) I like alot I comes on around 6k and pulls a lot harder then the bassani.I ran it up to 10500 rpm today and it was still pulling hard.Dont wanna rev it much higher than that.Both pipes are race pipes.
the yosh is way louder then the bassani but its also pretty loud
