new here and not a very good typer sorry.ok had the motor sitting around for 13yrs so put in a quad rides nice but pops out of 3 at low rpm.so this year i put new clutch springs heavy duty and now it pops out of 2 and stays in 3 do a little cluch adjustment then stays in 2 and pops in 3 again could it be oil 10x30 royle purple or internal

Oil should not have anything to do with it. If it happens at Idle or slow speeds, it sounds like an adjustment issue. Especially if you never had the problem before. It may also be that the gears are not fully engaging. If the bike sat for that long I would start out with some very light Hi detergent oil or just add some "marvel Mystery Oil"@ to the oil or Rislone@ to see if you can clean up the inside the tranny. I would also check very carefully your clutch adjustment. These transmissions did sometimes pop out of gear, but under high power output situations when the engines were heavily modified. Not under regular street use.

Before getting all wound up on the internals, check the Pawl Spring, De-tent Arm Spring and Shift Pawls are in specifications/tolerances and adjusted correctly for operations first...

Most likely just the Pawl spring has broken or is weak... These can be obtained for ~ $6 from Z1...

It can be many things as depicted in the RED box.... Hopefully it will be something minor that can be repaired externally otherwise you'll have to split the cases to get into the transmission....

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI would highly recommend that if you do not already have one, that you obtain a Kawasaki service annual for the bike. They are worth their own weight in blood, sweat and tears.

Make sure that it is an OEM Kawasaki manual, and not a Clymer or Chiltons. Those are junk. Kawasaki part #99997-700-07 do not buy any substitute for that book.
