The GS 1000 was reverse engineered from a Z1. You can drop a set of GS 1000 (not 1100 or 1150) barrels right onto a Kaw motor, now it would never actually run but they do share the stud pattern,pipe/carb spacing. Frame dimensions/shape and engine angles are another story...
