Is this piston reusable?

Where measured? I remember my pistons (and everyone I have seen) have a taper from top to bottom with the skirt (bottom) being the widest so it has the tightest fit to the cylinder and the top having a lot more clearance.

yea, it was measured at spots around the bottom as the book suggested. Surprisingly, this piston had the best compression of the set. I can't afford a new piston right now (unemployed and poor) so I'll try the cleanup and see if it works for a while.
