Thanks you guys... I got it polished up and it looks pretty kool. I'll have to take my camera to work tomorrow and snap some new pics. As far as time... just the cutting and shaping... probably an hour or so... polishing.. .. .. uhh... 4 hours or so.. After sandblasting it take about 6 times over it to sand down to a polishable surface. Starting with 220 grit, then 400, then 600, then 800, then 1500, then 2000, .. a little steel wool and then polishing goes pretty quick...

polishing (like painting) is all in the prep work. The straighter and more perfect you can get it from the start the better the finished product will be. What stinks is now I have to match the quality with all the other covers!!:S Might do something a little different with a couple other covers.. not quite sure yet...
