With the pods and 4-1 up your main jets to a 112.5 and check her out. Plugs are probably tan because through idle (pilot jet) and mid range (needle) settings you're jetted correctly and aren't hitting the high rpms frequently enough to show the lean condition on the top end. Put the bigger main jets in and see how she pulls at that point. If I'm correct you'll feel her pulling hard all the way to indicated redline and beyond.
