Should I go with the Kerker or Mac ?

My question is what is the difference between the kerker vs the MAC?
If I do decide to go with the MAC what is the main difference between the cannister pipe vs the megaphone pipe?
ie. other than looks will the cannister provide more low end torque than the megaphone? Will the megaphone be louder ( I assume it would be)
Thanks for your help.

Can't tell you about the power. I don't have anything else to compare it too.
So from my standpoint, it's pretty much personal preference.

I personally would never buy a chrome header. They are single wall construction and they are going to turn blue for 99% of the owners.
I could buy a used/parts bike with a Kerker for the price of a new Kerker.
There are some nice used ones out there some where. I have bought three this year. Roy

One more question: Will the CSR exhaust bolt right on (the one with the crossover pipes? Any advantage?
I have spent ~1500 so far on bits and bobs and a seat, I do plan on keeping the bike until they scatter my ashes wherever, so I guess I have some time. The stock exhaust is fine for now I guess.
Thanks for the input.....I was about to punch in my credit card number on Deniskirk.com, but decided to query you gents first.

Yep, and it is a deep ROYAL blue, not a wimpy sky blue....:laugh:I personally would never buy a chrome header. They are single wall construction and they are going to turn blue for 99% of the owners.

Not much. Mine put a shade more HP in the mid RPM band (about 3k to 6k) with a loss of low end torque. Not dyno reading, just my riding feel. I would be amazed if there was even a 10% increase that could be obtained by changing only pipes and jets because the bike makers wring all the power out they can and they do it for a living.Has anyone dyno'd any aftermarket pipes? Do they really help the average street rider?
