I go 2000 miles per oil and filter change. The plugs I go by appearance more than milage. I use anti-seize on the spark plug threads to avoid plugs seized to the head. Just my personal preference. I have seen plugs almost impossible to remove from these heads when anti-seize wasn't used on the plug threads.

on that bike you would need to be riding a lot to need plugs and oil..you can go while if your just riding here and there...if you ride all the time ,which i would not do on that bike.....you could change em every couple months or 2500 miles (oil) plugs???whenever you wanna change em..a set of ngk b8es cost 10 bucks here and my bike is tired so i change em often as the oil.......if you have not changed em yet (plugs) just be careful to get em spinning in their threads before really tighting with a wrench..these motors will cross thread or may 'have' been crossthreaded by the last guy....and wanna do it again....anti seize on the threads of ea. plug will help too...

that bike is the shit...you scored and bought the best bike ever made! ....the best...as in #1 motorcycle of all time!!!! very nice.....VERY NICE!!!
