I'm baffled, now

I've made my own baffles before but I used a piece of pipe that I drilled holes into and wrapped in baffle packing. It worked really well and I could adjust the amount of back pressure by adding more holes to the pipe.

I'm dredging this back up for a friend who may be making a muffler.
