Ok,Ive tried looking up on internet and got manuals.
Could somebody tell me all the fluids to check on my KZ650 1978.I know how to check the oil,and master cylinder.But is there any other fluids im missing?I just want to make sure i keep up to par,maybe even a website of the engine and where stuff is.Thank you:)

Also battery levels (where applicable).

And fork oil (per maintenance schedule).

The engine & transmission use the same oil.
A good oil to use is Shell Rotella-T 15W40.
Be sure to use distilled water in the battery.
As for the forks, you'll probably find that they're overdue for service - old oil is greyish black. The manual probably specifiec 10W fork oil, but 15W might be a better idea.

ohioKZnut, here are a few Fluid Specifications for all years of the KZ650:

Descriptions...........Specification
Fuel Service Level......2-3 mm below carb bowl mating surface.
Oil Type.......................SAE 10W-40.
Oil Quantity.................(change) Approx. 3.2 liters.
Oil Quantity.................(Filter Change) Approx. 3.8 liters.
Fork Oil Weight...........15W.

Great ,thanks for the info,how about links to picture diaphrams,and how often i should change oil,and then filter.Im running 4 into 1 pipe and not sure if the ignition and coils are upgraded.Im trying to learn my bike by examining,but pictures of what is what would greatly help.Ive read the thread on "what kind of oil is everybody running." but couldnt see whats best and how often.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationWould consider obtaining an official Kawasaki service manual. It's one of the best investments for a KZ owner. Here's one of several currently listed on ebay. Or just search for "KZ650 manual" on ebay.
