Damn good job everybody!

I think everyones answer was correct! I would of went for spin it faster, but hard with cams and head the same. Maybe a good way to even up, displacement differances.

Larry is there a way to do the math for, lets say, pro stock motors running at the same speed.

1015cc @ 10,500 rpms (peak power)
1200cc @ 10,500 rpms (peak power)

Larry was the 113% Ve, ever possible?

All i/c motors....To increase power output....

1. make it bigger
2. spin it faster
3. make it more efficient

Yes, 113% is realistic on a tuned Z.

How big it is, drives the reasoning behind the choices when you want to spin it faster.

just remember where your streetbike motor spends 90% of its time, ill guarantee its not gonna be 8500,id say closer to 6000 so build that bigbore stump puller !

exactly so build accordingly.38 flatslides and 435 cams with large by huge intake ports are cool on a dragbike with throttle pinned for 9 seconds but are of very little use on a streetbike B)

1200cc KZ motors are good all around setup for everyone. Only drawback is it bites the budget a little harder.

If you look at the OEM engineer's setups, 2 things clearly dominate.

In all cc limited bikes, RPM is climbing all the time.

In bikes where cc limits are not a concern....they're getting bigger all the time.

Remember the days when guys would debate 340 vs 440 mopars ;)

Both were a joy to own. The question was are you more comfortable in a GTX or a Cuda?

My money is on the gtx with the tunnel rams and water injection. Almost my first car but my mother wouldn't let me because the car didn't have a hood. I told her that I could pick one up no problem. She didn't buy and as a result this may have saved my life. Being a 16 year old at the time probably was not a good combination. That car flew. Oh but the Cuda???!! I don't honestly know if I coulda made a good decision. I loved both. I probably woulda gone for the Cuda only because it looks drop dead sexy.
