Larry, it is a 1982 KZ1100 that I bought for $100, I had posted earlier about it and this was kinda a continuation of the first thread. Today the plasma cutter is going to get a work out.

I have ordered a 2 piece Fat-Bob tank and fender and will be looking for the right seat and bars soon. I also scored some like new Sportster chrome shocks for the rear. I think I can build the bike with paint and powdercoat for around $1500

1982 KZ1100, Sat for 14 years wasting away! Going to rebuild as a super clean Bobber. I figured I need a motorcycle, since I could not fit another car into the garage.

boy that is no kidding, I had no Idea what I was getting into with my 79 1000 B3 rebuild. the original plan was to fix the brakes, put on new tires and ride it. It turned into plowing the south 40, every time I turned around I had to go just a little more. and when I got there, "we'll I'm this far why stop now" so $4000 bucks and 10 months later. it is just about ready to roll out.

@ FFR1545...

Update your profile so your profile show year, model, picture anything you want displayed in your postings and replies...

Secondly, start a PROJECT file and take a whole slew of images.... This is a must not just to show your process in your project but it will also come in handy due to waiting parts, funds whatever there will be times you'll go, WTF how did that fit on there ot how was that configured before?

Lastly, where picture whores... Ok, some of us are just whores....
